Despite the older noisy rooms next to the freeway, my stay at BR Marriott was pleasant. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had a nice smell. The service was friendly and helpful, though being knocked on the door multiple times was a bit intrusive. The location was convenient for my purposes in Baton Rouge, with easy access to local coffee shops and events. The dining experience was mediocre, disappointing my expectations. The hotel had some pleasant facilities to offer.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were a nice size with a large TV, but the proximity to the interstate made for a noisy night. The dripping water sound in the morning was a bit off-putting.
The hotel offers spacious and clean rooms with comfortable amenities, but the dining experience could be improved and some disturbances were noted in the service.
